Contracting
We use SureLC for contracting with Mutual of Omaha. You can make that request below. You can review our Instructions for getting set up in the portal and making the request. If you have any questions, please call or email Robiny Mitchell at (919) 794-3177 or [email protected].
Processing will take approximately 3-5 business days. An email will be sent to you from Mutual of Omaha with your new agent number when the approval process is complete.
MT and PA are the only states where you must be appointed in that state prior to taking a client application. Effective 9/6/22, simply email Mutual’s special PA/MT email account to request that these states be added to your contract. They will get the request set up immediately but they must have a formal request to add these two states. They will no longer need to wait for the state’s Department of Insurance to confirm anything, which has been the real delay in most requests.

AML Training (Life policies)
Mutual of Omaha requires that an agent’s AML training be current before any LIFE application can be issued. AML training typically renews every two years. Mutual of Omaha will require proof that the training is current before a client’s pending life application can be finalized.
The easiest and quickest way to do AML Training is by using the LIMRA website. The results are uploaded to many carriers, including Mutual of Omaha, via a direct data feed between the carrier and LIMRA.
Partnership Training (LTC policies)
Mutual of Omaha requires that an agent’s LTC Partnership training be current BEFORE any client LTC application can be DATED. Mutual provides a detailed Overview & Training Guide which outlines the industry and state requirements.
They even provide contracted agents with a direct link to take the course using LTCiTraining.com. You can find the link and details inside Sales Professional Access. Simply log into your portal, hover over the Products link in the top toolbar. You should see the Partnership Program listed in the drop down options.
Mutual of Omaha will require that copies of ALL Partnership training certificates be in an agent’s licensing file. This includes the initial 8-hour training and all 4-hour refresher courses.
We highly recommend that this information be verified before an LTC application is going to be taken. If the training is not complaint and a client application is taken, the client application will be declined due to contracting and the client will get an automatically generated declination letter.
Agents can email Mutual of Omaha’s Licensing Department directly to inquire about the status of their training and to provide any updated information.
